Contacts

Contacts are the backbone of Spin; without them, it’s just a fancy calendar. So how do you create, manage, and remove contacts? Let’s dive in.

List All Contacts

To view all your contacts, head to the Contacts page. At the top of the contact gallery, you’ll see categories representing different contact types: Clients, Employees, Organizers, and Vendors. Selecting a contact type filters and displays all contacts under that category.

Edit a Contact

Keeping your contact details up to date is simple in Spin. You can update either the Details or the Type of contact:

  • Details: Includes information like phone number, email address, and name.
  • Type: Specifies the category, such as Client, Employee, Organizer, or Vendor.

Edit Contact Details

Go to the Contacts page, open the contact you want to update, and click the Action button, followed by Edit Contact. This opens a modal with fields for:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number

Make your changes and click Edit Contact to save.

Delete a Contact

Regularly removing unused contacts helps keep your dashboard organized. Confirm the action in the modal by clicking Delete Contact, or cancel by selecting No, Don't Delete It.
